I have been working closely with Anderson, Hanson and Blanton for over 25 years on numerous real estate projects. Jody Hanson and her team have become an integral part of our company. Our current collaboration with them is Whisper Valley, located in Austin, Texas. It is a unique 2,000-acre community that introduced zero energy capable homes to consumers who are buying homes from the $200s to the $400s. We will have over 7,500 homes, 2 million square feet of services and 700 acres of open space. It is the first large scale community of its kind in the US to offer zero energy capable homes using geothermal technology that are connected to ground source heat pumps and solar PV systems. In addition, the community was the first in Austin to offer super-fast Google 1 GB internet service and organic farms that harvest and deliver food to the doorstep of our residents. There is so much that is new, different and cutting edge about this community. The uniqueness also presented a major marketing challenge in messaging to the public.
Jody and Kelly Hanson, and their remarkable team not only rose to the challenge, but they took our concepts to new heights. They integrated a very sophisticated promotion program that included all aspects of communications. They understood the power of the internet and social media. Everything from websites, to Facebook, Twitter, Messenger, and videos were harmoniously engaging our customers. They organized traditional tools like collateral material, signs, billboards and graphics. They created an amazing marketing center that we call our Discovery Center. It is an award-winning, “one of a kind” facility that communicates our message in an easy to digest way using full wall animated graphics and storyboards. We have numerous electronic storyboards. They orchestrated PR and media campaigns using radio and TV, Realtor Events, Grand Openings, and media events. In short, they have been our voice. Following the expert input, we have won numerous awards on a local and national level. We could not achieve the success we have without them. They are one of our finest business partners and clear industry leaders.
